The conference aims at promoting advanced knowledge, exchange of experience and best practices between judges, prosecutors and lawyers in private practice from EU Member States who are dealing with online investigations. This will improve participants' knowledge of the strategies and techniques used in different European countries and will ultimately improve cross-border cooperation among Member States’ authorities.

In 2019, ECLAN will celebrate its 15th Anniversary, and the annual conference will focus on a very topical issue. Participants will address how judicial and police cooperation in criminal matters would be impacted by Brexit, and under which modalities the future UK-EU cooperation would take place.

The BPH’s European Data Protection Law Summer School is the only Summer School fully devoted to European data protection law and policy gives students the opportunity to know how to apply and how to situate the GDPR.
