This annual conference aims at giving a police update and inform of the recent CJEU case law in the area of EU VAT law.

The conference will focus on analysing the proposed EU AML/CFT reform package, including the new EU AML/CFT Authority, the new EU AML Regulation (AMLR), the sixth round of revisions to the AML Directive (AMLD 6) and other existing legislation.

This seminar aims to assess and debate legal measures to prevent and combat the production, processing, possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material on the internet. Particular emphasis will be placed on the dialogue between law enforcement agencies and the internet industry.

The main objective of this seminar is to train EU legal practitioners on the fundamentals of electronic evidence enabling them to gain an overview of the complex challenges related to criminal cases with tech/internet components. This event will address online investigations with particular focus on searches on websites and social media platforms. It is part of a larger project funded by the EU's Justice Programme regarding the collection of e-evidence when investigating/prosecuting crimes.
