Countering Sports Corruption in the EU
Global sporting events and the revenues from their immediate derivative products, such as television rights and sports betting, have been growing at an exponential rate. A negative side effect of the globalisation of sports has been an increase in abuse of the betting market as a mechanism for money-laundering. This online seminar will analyse current measures to combat sports corruption within the EU and what more can be done to improve the investigation and prosecution of these crimes.

EP Proposed Amendments to EU Treaties
Following the Conference on the Future of Europe and in the context of unprecedented challenges and multiple crises, on 22 November 2023, the EP adopted a resolution on proposals for amendments of the EU Treaties.
