In November 2018, Eurojust issued an update of its overview of the case law of the CJEU with regard to the application of Framework Decision 2002/584/JHA of 13 June 2002 on the European arrest warrant and surrender procedures between Member States (FD EAW). Where relevant, it also refers to the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union (“Charter”), the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR), and the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR).

The document contains an index of keywords, with references to relevant judgments, a chronological list of judgments, and summaries of CJEU judgments organised according to certain keywords (such as human rights scrutiny, refusal grounds, guarantees, time limits). The document has been designed as a supporting tool for practitioners.
