At the end of November 2018, law enforcement authorities from Italy, Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Spain kicked off a new operational network (@ON), together with Europol, to strengthen their cooperation against mafia-style criminal groups, Eurasian and Albanian criminal networks, and Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs. Within the network, specialised investigative units and special investigators will offer support to the Member States involved.

The ONNET project is financially supported by the European Commission. @ON is composed of the Italian Direzione Investigativa Antimafia (D.I.A.) – which plays a leading role – the Belgian Federal Police, the French National Police and Gendarmerie Nationale, the German Federal Criminal Police Office (Bundeskriminalamt), the Dutch National Police, and the Spanish National Police and Guardia Civil.
