New Streaming Service at CJEU Website

The CJEU recently began offering a streaming service from its website that broadcasts hearings and the handing down of judgments and opinions of the Court of Justice. Since 26 April 2022, citizens can follow live broadcasts of cases assigned to the Grand Chamber - from the start of the hearings to the delivery of the judgments. In order to allow citizens to follow these hearings under the same conditions as if they were physically present, simultaneous interpretation of the pleadings is also offered in the languages necessary for the proper conduct of the hearings. In addition, in a six-month pilot project, the hearings can also be followed in a broadcast offered later on the same and/or on the subsequent day, depending on the time of the hearing. The timetable of the cases can be found in the CJEU's judicial calendar.
