At the beginning of March 2025, Ms Kirstine Troldborg took up her duties at Eurojust as the new Representative of Denmark. She was previously Head of International Affairs at the Danish Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. She succeeds Mr Torben Thygesen.

Following implementation of the Eurojust Regulation and the Agreement on cooperation in criminal matters between Eurojust and the Kingdom of Denmark, Denmark has a Representative at the Agency instead of a National Member. Representatives do not have the same level of integration as National Members into Eurojust's organisational structure; they primarily serve as a link between their home country and Eurojust.

Prior to her appointment as Representative of Denmark at Eurojust, Ms Troldborg served as Head of International Affairs at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions and she has been involved in various criminal cases requiring international collaboration. Furthermore, she represented Denmark in international negotiations on legal instruments and participated in cross-border judicial networks.
