New Liaison Prosecutor for the United States at Eurojust

At the beginning of January 2025, Ms Martyna Pospieszalska took up her two-year mandate as the new Liaison Prosecutor for the USA at Eurojust. Prior to starting her new position, Ms Pospieszalska had worked as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of International Affairs (OIA), the United States’ central authority, where she advised and assisted U.S. and foreign authorities on extraditions and requests for mutual legal assistance, with a particular focus on Europe. Ms Pospieszalska succeeds Mr Philip Mirrer-Singer. She has been appointed for an initial term of two years.
