New Executive Director Appointed

On 8 March 2017, Catherine de Bolle was appointed new Executive Director of Europol by the European Council.
Catherine de Bolle currently holds the position of Commissioner General of the Belgian Federal Police. Her term at Europol will begin on 1 May 2018 when the term of the current Executive Director, Rob Wainwright, ends. (see also eucrim 4/2017 p. 165).
