On 8 September 2022, the first High-Level Network on Returns was launched, comprising expert representatives from Member States and Schengen Associated Countries` institutions responsible for returns. The network aims at coordinating the efforts made by all Member States to ensure effective returns on the EU level. Together with experts from Frontex and the European Commission, at its first meeting, the network discussed the main challenges and developments affecting return operations in the EU.
