Joint Reintegration Services Launched

At the beginning of April 2022, for the first time, Frontex started supporting Member States in providing reintegration measures to migrants returned to their countries of origin. These measures include a number of services such as support with long-term housing, medical assistance, job counselling, education, assistance in setting up a small business, and family reunification. The Joint Reintegration Service is conducted with several selected partners such as Caritas Int. Belgium, IRARA, WELDO, ETTC, and LifeMakers Foundation Egypt. It is part of the EU Strategy on Voluntary Return and Reintegration.
