Europol’s European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) organised a European Youth Day for the first time, which took place on 20 November 2018. Under the slogan “Digital Rights of Youth against Violence,” approx. 100 youths between 12 and 15 years of age gathered at Europol to discuss online and offline safety issues. As a result, a call for action was drafted, calling on Internet governance institutions, Internet providers, policymakers, and all relevant stakeholders to create a safer Internet for children and adolescents.
