Ms. Catherine De Bolle has been appointed for a second term as Executive Director of Europol. The Executive Director of Europol is appointed for a four-year period, extendable once. Ms. De Bolle’s first term started in May 2018 (→ news of 20 October 2018) and ended on 1 May 2022. The second term will last until May 2026.
