On 29 October 2021, the Office of the Liaison Prosecutor for Albania opened at Eurojust, with Ms Fatjona Memcaj being the first Albanian Liaison Prosecutor at Eurojust (→ news dated 1 April 2021).The opening of the office is one more step in implementation of the cooperation agreement signed between Albania and Eurojust in 2018 to enhance their collaboration in the fight against serious, cross-border crime (→ news dated 19 January 2019).
