The Stockholm Criminology Symposium is an annual event which takes place for the first time after the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The primary purpose of the Symposium is to create an environment where international criminologists, policy makers, practitioners and others engaged in criminal policy matters can take part of the latest research findings of importance for crime policy.
This year’s program features around 100 speakers who will present their research and share their experience in 40 sessions. Don’t miss the chance to listen to the prize winners’ lecture with the 2021 and 2022 winners of the Stockholm Prize in Criminology.
The symposium program traditionally follow two main tracks. The first theme deals with "Understanding the mechanisms that cause crime and desistance from crime" and the other theme is based on contemporary criminology.
The symposium offers the possibility to register as an online delegate. This will give participants access to webcasts from all sessions presented in the auditorium and room 351 (17 sessions).
