Seminario "Giusizia e Conflitti"

Riflessioni a partire da Ucraina, Israele e Gaza

This seminar consists of several sessions starting from 19 March 2024 and can be attended online and in person. It is organised by the faculty of law at the University in Turino.

Starting from the peculiarities of the two ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and Israel/Gaza, university professors and researchers, together with magistrates and journalists, will discuss and explore crucial issues such as:

• The evolving role of international justice - not only criminal justice - and of states;
• The media narrative of war, related crimes and their repression;
• The proper and instrumental use of the crime of genocide;
• The interaction between the rule of law and war in the countries involved.
