The Conference will discuss the results of the EUROCOORD project on the implementation of the European Investigation Order (EIO) and present the Code of Best Practices. The conference will provide the opportunity to discuss the key questions among academics, EU representatives and practitioners on the judicial cooperation within the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice and the fight against cross-border crime.
EUROCOORD's main objective is to promote judicial cooperation by developing systematic research and generating specific knowledge and tools addressed to the different stakeholders to contribute to the efficient and coherent application of Directive 2014/41/EU on the European Investigation Order. It
- Researched into the EIO judicial framework;
- Developed a Code of Best Practices;
- Made up training courses and seminars addressed to different target groups;
- Launched the European Observatory on EOI and beyond on criminal matters.
