European Asylum and Immigration What lawyers need to know

The European Lawyers Foundation and the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe are organising a short webinar on European Asylum and Immigration rules. The webinar is co-funded by the EU.

During the webinar, a representative of the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) will present the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights in relation to asylum and migration, and a representative of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Home Affairs will shed light on the new asylum and migration pact. In addition, a representative of the Council of Europe will highlight various legal instruments and case law, and the Chair of the CCBE Migration Committee will discuss legal assistance to immigrants and asylum seekers.

Participation in the webinar is free of charge. Registration is possible until 25 May 2025. The number of participants is limited. For more information, see the programme at the link to the conference website.
