Objective
This online seminar will provide participants with a comprehensive insight into the recent jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) on the impact of Art. 10 ECHR on elections and its interaction with new technologies.
The focus is on the key judgments of 2023, where the ECtHR discussed the exercise of free speech by politicians and activists as well as the role and responsibilities of the media in public discourse. In addition to judgments on the essence of the freedom of expression, special attention is paid to media regulation and the impact of new technologies on the freedom of expression.
