The ECBA will hold its autumn conference on 1 and 2 October 2021 in Berlin. The conference is supported by the German Federal Bar (Bundesrechtsanwaltskammer - BRAK) and the Criminal Law Working Group of the German Bar Association (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Strafrecht des Deutscher Anwaltverein).
The title of the Conference is: “EPPO meets European Defence: striving for the highest standard of fair proceedings in Europe”. As one of the hot topics of the year is the start of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) operations, the Conference will focus on the role of the defence in the scope of EPPO proceedings.
In addition there will be the first edition of the Scott Crosby Human Rights Award in Berlin!
