70 Jahre Europäische Menschenrechtskonvention - Menschenrechtsschutz in Deutschland und Eurpopa

The European Convention on Human Rights of 1950 is the core of fundamental rights protection in Europe. In 2020, the Convention celebrates its 70 anniversary. The online conference deals with the question how the rule of law and human rights protection can be ensured and strengthened in Germany and Europe in view of current challenges. Conference languages are German and English (simultaneous interpretation will be provided). The conference will be broadcast in a livestream. The conference is organised by Deutsches Institut für Menschenrechte in coooperation with the German Foreign Office and the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection.
